    Improvement methods for defect structure in forged steel

    • The defect structure in forging steel would affect its mechanical properties and subsequent use. The widmanstatten structure, banded structure, bainite and underheated structure encountered in carbon steel and low alloy steel were summarized, and the formation reasons, evaluation methods and improvement methods of these four kinds of defect structures were analyzed. The research results could provide a theoretical basis for improving the mechanical properties of steel products.
